4 stars because they don't stay up as well as other pair I have, so maybe these will be better for running than yoga.I wear small in beyond yoga apparel and am usually a 28 or size 6. These stop just above the ankle on me and I am 5'6". Carnation pink is very true to photo - I have a top by this brand that is HOT PINK and I thought these would be the same, they are not. Happy with these for yoga, jogging, lounging. The panels are cool. I like pink.I have to update my review because the leggings have a hole after wearing them less than ten times. I washed them cold on a gentle cycle and air dried them. Nothing happened that could explain the hole so I think it’s just poor material. Disappointing. Otherwise my original review below is still true.Nice cut and very soft material. The material tends to attract lint though but not to a degree that would really bother me.The size is as expected except very long. I am 5'6 and wear 32inch long jeans so my legs are neither long nor short but I have a lot of material left around my ankles. I could certainly pull the leggins down to cover my heals but that's not a look I am going for. So, instead, I have that extra fabric.I have the leggins in Rich Brandy and Blue ribbon. Both very nice colors.I like Beyond yoga as a brand since they manufacture in the US and I am happy to support that.Expensive yoga pants, but you will feel like a million bucks....go ahead...take the vinyasa. I cleansed my yoga wardrobe of all the pants that have past their prime. You know, you have them too! Yogis choice to get some nice gear and what a difference that little side panel makes in the over all fit. Ok, I am not a 'flat Stanlely' girl...I have a butt and strong thighs to hold up my butt. I did not once readjust or tug at the waist of my pants during my practice. I will get more of these pants because they are constructed very well. Soft fabric, nice compression, did I mention the side panel improves the fit? Next pair will be the cropped length.These leggings fit really well and are really comfortable. The downsides are that they are on the thinner side, so I won't be doing any really heavy activity in them. They aren't the blackest black either, as someone mentioned, but for the price, I feel the quality is pretty high. If you want tight leggings for hard activity and lots of bending and moving, these really aren't it, as they just aren't thick enough.Great material and color. I am 149 lbs and purchased Medium - they fit perfectly the first day I wore them, however stratched a lot after the first wear. Now they are literally falling off as they stratched so much in the hip area... pretty sad about it as I really liked this legging and brand.I love the material. It is breathable and soft, not like some other pants I have that are too polyester-like. The waist band is not tight enough, nor is it high enough. I have to constantly pull the pants up! You may want to order one size down. I ordered a large, and I am a size 12/14 pants, and it fit. It's tighter on the thighs than the waist though.Beyond Yoga leggings are my FAVORITE everyday leggings. They're like wearing a t-shirt on your bum and legs! I'm 5'11" and 140lbs with 40" hips, and I CAN wear a size Small, but a Medium fits me perfectly. They even stretch to be long enough for my extra-long legs!The best part? I can wash AND dry these in the dryer! No more waiting for my gym clothes to dry on a rack!I LOVE Beyond Yoga. Such a great brand. These leggings are my favorite out of all their styles. Even my yoga teacher commented that they made my tush look good! They stay put in twists, inversions, and just walking around town for the day! And they don't pinch your waist. Who wants that?Love Love Love!
